Clorox Bleach tweet goes too far

Clorox is trying to clean up the mess that happened while tweeting about the new emojis.

The tweet said, ‘New emojis are all right, but where’s the bleach?’ Given that the new emojis come in different races for the new iPhone update Apple iOS 8. There are black faces and brown faces that were added. Many people said that Clorox bleach was taking a racial jab. But other people said that the tweet was blown out of proportion.

The company said they were not trying to offend anybody, they were referring to their new toilet, bath and wine glass emojis.

Here is the apology tweet

Do you think it was a harmful joke?
